About
Hey, I’m Will, owner and founder of Design for Adventure. I have been building and designing since I was a kid, when I was busy making dirt jumps and turning the space around my house into a skate park. That same drive to make things has grown into a career working on everything from home remodels and custom cabinetry to indoor adventure parks across the country. I earned my Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University in Los Angeles, CA., and spent a big part of my twenties traveling and rock climbing around the world. All of that has shaped the way I approach my work today, with a hands on mindset, a love for the process, and a constant pull toward adventure.
Carpentry
Building has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest projects were homemade skate ramps and backyard builds, and over time that passion grew into professional work ranging from custom cabinetry to indoor adventure parks. No matter the size of the project, I am drawn to the same things: craftsmanship, problem solving, and the satisfaction of making something that lasts.
Furniture
Furniture is one of my favorite ways to bring design into everyday life. I love the process of creating custom pieces that are shaped by the needs of a space, the vision of a client, and the beauty of the material itself. Each project is an opportunity to make something thoughtful, functional, and built to last.
Client Reviews
“This is my second time hiring William for some carpentry work. This time he installed some acoustic vinyl wall panels in my basement and it turned out fantastic, exactly as we hoped! Thank you again for bringing our vision to life!”
— Mitch S.“Amazing! I had a very specific design in mind (vertical shiplap) and William executed the design perfectly. I am in love with it! He picked up the product for me from Lowe’s, was here on time and worked quickly. Super nice guy! Went above and beyond. Can’t wait to have him back for more projects!”
— Lindsay N.“Will, did an amazing job building a treehouse in my backyard over the course of three days. He supplied all the materials and tools. The entire process was super easy and he did incredible work. It was clear that his background as an architect heavily influenced what he did here. I cannot recommend him enough. I look forward to working with him again!”
